Air Handling Unit

   

 

Air handling unit :

Feature:

Casing: Aluminium frame with cool bridge proof, double skin panels are mounted by a special made                 plastic batten without using a bolt, this battening method solves the air leak problem.

Panel: Double skin sandwiched panels . The inner skin is precoated steel plate, while the outer skin is           galvanized steel plate. Between these skins inject with ployurethane foam, density 48kg/m3.                     There are two kinds of thickness: 25mm and 50mm.

Heat exchanger: Made by seamless copper tube and aluminium fin under 14Mpa of hydraulic                      pressure expansion and leaking testing. There are 2/4/6/8 rows for choice, the                   standard fin pitch is 2.5mm.

Drain pan: Dry type, that is, it drains smoothly without backwater. Beneath the bottom it is applied
                 with PE faom.
                      

Air filter: Face-area speed is under effective control to exert the best efficiency of the filters.
                There are primary/fine/HEPA filters for choice.
 

Fan: High efficiency, low noise double inlet centrifugal fan, service free bearings with seft center                   adjusting function, G4.0 balancing impeller. Fan and motor are mounted on a rigid frame with                       anti vibration pads.

Driving sets: Narrow V belt, taper lock pulley.

Motor: Three-phase AC squirrel induction motor, IP54 protection, F insulation. Fan and motor                      are mounted on a rigid frame with components to adjust tension of the V belt(s).

Stand: Channel steel with holes for folk lift.

 

Nomenclature:

 

Hand side: Hand side means the side for service. The outlet and inlet chilled/heat                  water’s pipings, drain water’s piping, power source’s terminal, service doors are located at                     this side. The determination of hand side is by face air inlet panel to decide, for example:                           the below drawing AHU is right hand.

 

 

Module specification: Basic dimension is 150mm.

AHU lenght L = NL × 150+ N0 × 40
AHU width W = NW × 150 + 40
AHU Height H = NH × 150 + 140
WFB:
AHU lenghtL = NL × 150 + N0 × 70
AHU width W = NW × 150 + 70
AHU height H = NH × 150 + 170
Note:NL﹑NW ﹑NH are module number for length、width、height,N0 is section number。

 Note: The above input power was calculated under 3 funtional sections ( Air filter + cooling + fan ) only.        

Installation:

1.   Install the unit on a rigid flloor or base horizontally.

2.   Please leave at least 1 meter space along the side of pipings and service doors for service’s use.

3.   Please do not use too much force to lock the connecting pipes, this may break welding spots causing water leakage.

4.   The unit can not bear the weight of external connecting ducts and fans. These ducts and fans must be supported        

        independently by others framework.

5.   Chilled water / hot water / steam pipings and drain pipings must be applied heat insulation properly.

6.   Water trap is required to be installed properly at the drain outlet of the unit.
